Ok, so I'm not going quite around the world, only half-way (although a RTW trip is defined as travelling at least 2 continents, which I will be doing). And some of my gadgets are gadgets in the wider sense, not just electronical. I just want to see how much easier it is to get around with these clever inventions. And of course they're a lot lighter to carry around than the conventional stuff!

Who am I? I work as a translator and have always loved languages and travel. I have been saving up for this trip for a long time and am very excited about hitting he road alone for such a long time!
